Another gorgeous sunset at the Sea Oaks Beach & Tennis Club!
It’s so wonderful and convenient that the families that are visiting the area are already staying on the beach, and I get to spend my summers enjoying beach days in some of Vero’s prettiest communities.
The Roadruck family has been commuting from New Jersey to Vero Beach regularly in the summertime to visit the kids grandparents! Since they haven’t had any professional family portraits done since the youngest was a baby, I got the privilege of meeting them on the beach for some sunset family fun.
Sometimes, it’s a real challenge to get my JWP families able to embrace the “candid, carefree” photo experience. People are so trained to want to smile at the camera, and parents often get distracted trying to get the kids to look my way instead of enjoying the authenticity of the moments. Fortunately, the Roadrucks were absolute naturals and totally nailed their session! The kids were effortlessly photogenic, and everyone was so well behaved for photos. (Even dad, which is the hardest sell, believe me!) And even with the beaches being covered in seaweed from the rough weather the past few weeks, they were just the best clients!
